Job Description (General Summary)
Intralox, L.L.C. Quality Department has an opening for a Quality Assurance Engineer for our Assembly Operations at our Harahan location. This position will be scheduled Monday through Friday from 7am – 3:30pm Overtime and weekend work may be required as needed. This position is not eligible for work authorization sponsorship.

Job Responsibilities and Requirements
Responsibilities
• Lead and support critical success factors and continuous improvement efforts
• Provide oversight of root cause and corrective action program
• Monitor trends from key metrics and drives improvement using quality tools and systems
• Provide oversight of technical audit program
• Coordinate and support the setting and updating of product specifications
• Manage and improve documentation of processes and procedures
• Provide oversight of implementation and maintenance of the quality training program
• Research and champion the implementation of new quality technologies
• Evaluate opportunities for improvements for the current Quality Management System (QMS)
• Maintain oversight of data analysis

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in any field of engineering
• 2+ years of work experience in a manufacturing quality environment or plastics injection molding
• Proficiency in basic and advanced computer software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SigmaXL, InfinityQS, etc.)
• Basic understanding of the following: quality concepts, quality tools, probability, statistics, engineering processes, and change management
• Strong analytical and critical problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications
• Up-to-date professional quality certifications (ASQ, QAI, CSSC, etc.)
• Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification(s)
• Passion for learning and growth with ability to manage own tasks and meet goals and objectives with little supervision
• Demonstration of sense of urgency and ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to transfer knowledge well, and simplify complexity when communicating on all levels
• Proven track record of making consistent, logical, and objective decisions using good judgment
• Ability to assume good intentions and exhibit trust in workplace relationships
