Job Description (General Summary)

Intralox, L.L.C. is seeking an Equipment Application Engineer to support retrofit solutions for material handling systems in the parcel logistics and e-commerce markets. This role focuses on engineering application support during the qualification and quotation phases, partnering with customers and internal teams to develop effective, well-scoped retrofit and upgrade solutions.

Job Responsibilities and Requirements

Responsibilities:

Support projects from opportunity discovery through quotation.
Partner with account teams to understand customer challenges and define optimized system solutions.
Interpret customer requirements and recommend appropriate system scope.
Develop layout drawings, cost estimates, and technical risk assessments.
Coordinate with internal subject matter experts to deliver complete solutions.
Present technical concepts and proposals using CAD and simulation tools.
Support customer visits, troubleshooting efforts, and training activities.
Drive continuous improvement through customer feedback and field insights.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or related discipline.
3–5 years of experience in an engineering role, preferably within material handling or conveyor systems.
Strong customer-facing and communication skills.
Proven analytical and hands-on problem-solving ability.
Experience with CAD software.
Ability to travel up to 30% (domestically and internationally), including occasional weekends.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience designing automated material handling systems or equipment.
Experience with electrical controls or controls-related retrofit projects.

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Intralox considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training and key skills. The position is eligible for one of the following: commissions, discretionary incentives, or production incentives according to the terms of those plans

Salary Range $68,300 to $162,200.
