Job Description (General Summary)
Intralox, L.L.C. is seeking an Equipment Application Engineer to support retrofit solutions for material handling systems in the parcel logistics and e-commerce markets. This role focuses on engineering application support during the qualification and quotation phases, partnering with customers and internal teams to develop effective, well-scoped retrofit and upgrade solutions.

Job Responsibilities and Requirements
Responsibilities:
  • Support projects from opportunity discovery through quotation.
  • Partner with account teams to understand customer challenges and define optimized system solutions.
  • Interpret customer requirements and recommend appropriate system scope.
  • Develop layout drawings, cost estimates, and technical risk assessments.
  • Coordinate with internal subject matter experts to deliver complete solutions.
  • Present technical concepts and proposals using CAD and simulation tools.
  • Support customer visits, troubleshooting efforts, and training activities.
  • Drive continuous improvement through customer feedback and field insights.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or related discipline.
  • 3–5 years of experience in an engineering role, preferably within material handling or conveyor systems.
  • Strong customer-facing and communication skills.
  • Proven analytical and hands-on problem-solving ability.
  • Experience with CAD software.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% (domestically and internationally), including occasional weekends.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience designing automated material handling systems or equipment.
  • Experience with electrical controls or controls-related retrofit projects.

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Intralox considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training and key skills. The position is eligible for one of the following: commissions, discretionary incentives, or production incentives according to the terms of those plans

Salary Range $68,300 to $162,200.
