Job Description (General Summary)
We are seeking a capable professional to take ownership of how data moves across our engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and lifecycle services functions and to ensure truth, trust, traceability, and reuse across the organization.

Our organization relies on core systems including Autodesk Inventor, Windchill, Oracle, and Microsoft Dynamics 365. While each is powerful, their effectiveness depends on the quality and structure of the data that connects them. This role exists to bring discipline and clarity to that data.

The focus of this role is to define sound processes, standards, and system controls so that data is created correctly at its source while supporting day-to-day operations. Some hands-on data work may be required initially, but the goal is to eliminate the need for manual correction over time.

Intralox is a division of Laitram, L.L.C., with an extensive portfolio of innovative conveyance solutions and services that improve lives and optimize businesses worldwide.
Our global workforce of over 3,000 employees in 20+ countries consist of reliable problem solvers, continuously developing and directly delivering solutions that have driven our customers’ growth worldwide for more than 50 years.
Intralox was founded on the principle of doing the right thing, by treating customers, employees, and suppliers with honesty, fairness, and respect.  We invest heavily in these values and aim to practice our business philosophy principles every day, which is why we have been consistently recognized for innovation and workplace excellence. We believe in the power of a good idea no matter where it comes from, using trust as the foundation to how we work, and that self-managed people are our greatest asset.

We listen objectively, think creatively, and deliver results. To learn more about our company culture, philosophy, and benefits, please visit our company page.

Job Responsibilities and Requirements
What You’ll Be Doing:
Your responsibility will be to ensure the organization operates from accurate, consistent, and dependable data.

You will:

• Define and implement how master data is created, structured, maintained, and retired—from engineering design in Autodesk Inventor through Windchill, Oracle, and into Microsoft Dynamics 365
• Establish processes, workflows, and governance that ensure data is created correctly at the source
• Leverage tools for classification, validation, and enrichment (e.g., DFR/DFS, Engineering Toolkit, QA validation tools) to embed standards into workflows
• Identify and resolve data quality issues at the root cause
• Address urgent data issues when necessary while driving long-term fixes
• Partner with IT to improve data flow between systems
• Define ownership and accountability for key data elements
• Lead cross-functional alignment on data definitions and standards
• Support both new product development (NPD) and new part introduction (NPI) through clear, consistent data practices

You will ensure alignment across product structures (xBOM), including eBOM, mBOM, and sBOM, and define how data transitions between them.
You will also standardize part data through classification frameworks to reduce duplication and improve reuse and procurement efficiency.
In addition, you will support spare parts and lifecycle services, ensuring data supports serviceability from release through end-of-life.

Examples of Impact:
• Improve data flow from Autodesk Inventor through Windchill into Oracle and Microsoft Dynamics 365
• Improve part release into ERP with correct manufacturing and organizational context
• Enable smoother NPD and NPI through complete and aligned product data
• Clarify relationships between eBOM, mBOM, and sBOM
• Reduce duplicate and inconsistent part data
• Improve manufacturing execution through accurate BOMs
• Strengthen spare parts identification and availability
• Reduce dependency on engineering for downstream data issues
• Decrease reliance on manual data fixes through system-driven controls
• Enable future capabilities such as customer portals and self-service spare parts catalogs

Why This Matters:

Poor data leads to delayed launches, manufacturing errors, procurement inefficiencies, and service challenges. It also pulls engineering into downstream problem-solving.
This role addresses those issues at their source by ensuring data is correct when created. The goal is not to manage data manually, but to build systems and processes that make correct data the default.

What We’re Looking For:
• 5+ years of experience in master data, ERP/PLM systems, or related roles and a Associates degree in a relevant field or 2+ years of experience and a Bachelors degree in a relevant field.
• Experience with Oracle, Windchill, and/or Autodesk Inventor or similar software
• Exposure to Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a plus
• Familiarity with classification/validation tools (e.g., DFR/DFS or similar)
• Strong understanding of product data (parts, BOMs, attributes)
• Experience with eBOM, mBOM, sBOM or similar structures
• Manufacturing or engineering environment experience
• Familiarity with spare parts or lifecycle service data is a plus
• Ability to translate complex problems into clear data rules
• Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills

Organizational Scope
This role is positioned within Engineering due to the upstream creation of product data and reports to the Engineering Systems Information Group Manager, while operating with enterprise-wide responsibility.
You will work across engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, service, and IT to ensure data is defined, governed, and consistently used across the business.
