Intralox is seeking a Data Integration Specialist to join our New Product Development (NPD) team in New Orleans. This role is responsible for managing and supporting engineering data to ensure accurate integration into internal sales tools and timely product releases. You will work closely with engineers and software developers to translate physical product designs into structured, usable data.


This position reports to the Engineering Analysis Lead Engineer and offers opportunities to contribute to the development of internal software tools that support engineering success.



Job Responsibilities and Requirements
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with product and software engineers to translate physical product designs into engineering data and metadata.
  • Maintain and update engineering data in internal databases to support timely product releases.
  • Track and simplify data changes to support maintenance tables.
  • Investigate and resolve data maintenance issues, facilitating communication across technical teams, design engineers, and customer service.
  • Develop and implement methods to verify and test engineering data inputs.
  • Maintain documentation and training materials for new product engineers.
  • Partner with mechanical engineers, programmers, and testers to ensure high-quality, integrated data solutions.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field—or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with object-oriented programming and relational databases.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Excel macros, or other scripting languages.
  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Sprint Planning, GitHub Issues).
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Excel, Matplotlib).
