Job Responsibilities and Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Value Proposition and Business Case Development:
• Build detailed business cases for investment decisions.
• Perform TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) and ROI (Return on Investment) analyses.
• Craft compelling value propositions addressing customer pain points.
• Selling Tools Development:
• Develop selling tools and packages, including customer-facing presentations with quantified value messaging.
• Plan and organize internal training sessions on the selling tools.
• Initiate and plan marketing activities, liaising with the global marketing team.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
• Align teams on business development initiatives.
• Plan go-to-market strategies and ensure solution-market fit.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Customer Service, Application Engineering, Product Management, Operations, R&D, and the Solution Selling Team.
Research and Analysis:
• Conduct primary research through customer site visits, surveys, and interviews.
• Analyze market gaps and identify underserved needs to build internal business cases.
• Track emerging trends and market shifts, providing sales forecasts.
Report and Support:
• Provide content for internal sales review sessions.
• Regularly provide sales and opportunities reports in the Packer to Palletizer area.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in operations, finance, marketing, or engineering. An MBA is a strong plus.
• 3+ years of experience in business development, preferably in the industrial automation environment.
• Strong analytical skills to quantify the advantages of solutions into value propositions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in another language is a plus.
• Team player with a strong sense of ownership, leadership, and proactive self-management.
• Willingness for regular global business travel around 30%.

The position is eligible for one of the following: commissions, discretionary incentives, or production incentives according to the terms of those plans
Salary Range $58,100 to $182,500.
