As a Training and Development Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating training programs that enhance the skills and knowledge of our employees. You will work closely with project teams and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to identify training needs and develop effective training solutions

Requirements and Responsibilities:

• Emerging proficiency and/or interest: Analyzing learning and development needs, designing, and developing learning deliverables for blended, virtual, self-paced, and in-class delivery.
• Passion for Adult Learning Theory, Instructional Design Theories and Learning Objectives and Assessments.
• Able to conduct Needs Assessment to identify training gaps and determine the objectives of training programs.
• Ability to create educational audio and video materials, including script writing and storyboarding.
• Effectively collaborate with multiple stakeholders in a project team, quickly identifying training needs for the end-user. Work with subject matter expert to design, develop, and successfully deliver training.
• Collaborating with our internal team, support on-going efforts to build, maintain and/or update Learning Management System content that is relevant and timely to the employee learning experience.
• Able to support the design and develop training materials, including e-learning modules, instructional videos, manuals, and other educational resources.
• Can facilitate training sessions, both in-person and virtually, to ensure effective knowledge transfer.
• Able to assess the effectiveness of training programs through feedback and performance metrics and make necessary improvements.
• Proficient in managing multiple training projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality content.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Resources, Instructional Design, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in training and development or instructional design.
  • Technical aptitude and ability to navigate MS Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook. 
  • Experience with multimedia editing and/or rapid development authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Suite: Premiere Pro, InDesign, Photoshop, and Camtasia, and/or Canva a plus)
