Intralox, L.L.C., the world leader in conveyor equipment solutions utilizing modular plastic conveyor belts, has a position available for a Technical Trainer. The position is for a Technical Trainer on the Logistics and Material Handling team (LMH). The LMH team specializes in turnkey material handling solutions for the parcel and postal handling and for the warehouse and distribution segment. The team works closely with customers to determine their needs and then design, engineer, manufacture, install, commission, train, and support conveyance and sortation solutions to fit their needs.

  • Lead the preparation and execution of system training, including mechanical, electrical/controls, and maintenance/troubleshooting elements.
  • Manage the development of blended learning courses from project kick-off to completion and evaluation.
  • Plan and deliver training in various live settings, including on-site at customer, classroom training and virtual online training.
  • Continuously improve the standards, processes, and deliverables to enhance the effectiveness of the learning experience.
  • Understand and assess how training plays a role in business needs identified by product/process audits, performance metrics and troubleshooting case data and account strategies.
  • Ensure the quality and consistency of course content and delivery.
  • Support internal training needs, including new hire onboarding, cross training, continuous learning and certification.


  • BS in Engineering or related field from an accredited university.
  • At least two (2) years of experience in class-room training, electronic learning, multimedia programs, web-conferences.
  • Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude with a willingness to self-teach and study engineering products and systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to work effectively with all levels of management, production, and engineering employees.
  • Ability to work across departments to ensure effective teamwork and motivate personnel to assist in the effective and efficient operation of the training plan.
  • Possess knowledge of effective training techniques and curiosity to continuously learn.
  • Initiative, motivation, creativity, and ability to understand many areas of operations.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • This position requires travel (up to 40%) with some work taking place on holidays and weekends to meet customer scheduling requirements.
  • Self-managed with strong attention to detail.
  • Able to be flexible about working time to fit business needs and customer requirements.
