Laitram LLC is in search of a Talent Acquisition Partner to take ownership of identifying and evaluating talented and motivated individuals to join our growing organization. This qualified individual will ensure our people goals align to and achieve the broader business objectives. In addition, they will interface with business leaders to deliver qualified talent to fill critical roles and provide market intelligence to drive recruiting business outcomes.


Laitram, L.L.C.’s four operating divisions—Laitram Machinery, Intralox, Lapeyre Stair, and Laitram Machine Shop — employ over 3,400 people across 30 countries. Laitram’s corporate support group provides professional services to the operating divisions, including information technology services, human resources, legal counsel, accounting, safety, and facilities and maintenance. Responsibilities:

  • Source, recruit and hire professionals across a wide range of roles while managing process from sourcing to offer acceptance for respective business units
  • Deep connectivity to the business (attendance in key leadership meetings, planning sessions, etc.)
  • Understand business priorities and align people needs accordingly
  • Develop strong relationships with senior leaders to forecast recruitment needs; provide consultation to key managers and implement effective recruitment strategies
  • Strategic thought-partner to the business (providing expertise through proven experience and market intelligence, not order-taking)
  • Support in internal candidate career navigation and coaching
  • Build strong network of top talent through referrals, attendance at career fairs, trade shows, networking events, etc.
  • Adept at internal and external benchmarking to provide data-backed recommendations to leadership
  • Effectively leverage social media channels to identify top-talent and build strong talent pipelines

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required – ideally in Business Administration, Human Resources, or similar discipline
  • Minimum of 5-10 years’ recruiting experience with a track record of managing multiple positions, projects, and priorities simultaneously
  • High level of proactivity, urgency, and self-management
  • Outstanding service orientation and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively with all levels of management and tailor style accordingly
  • Strong project management skills
  • Reside in Greater New Orleans or Charlotte metro area - ability to travel to New Orleans Corporate Headquarters several times per year
  • Prior agency recruiting experience a plus
