We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer who will provide process guidance and technical execution as we continue to grow into the ServiceNow platform.  The ideal candidate will build an understanding of our company’s processes and lead conversations around which business capabilities should live in ServiceNow, not which can. This role should place a strong focus on leveraging design and architecture best practices, including configuration over customization.

This role will provide an opportunity to own and drive the implementation and adoption of a young, near out-of-the-box implementation of ServiceNow at a company that is sold on its value and wants to continue growing its footprint.

  • Drive ServiceNow architecture strategy by partnering with business and IT leadership to understand, validate, and rationalize ServiceNow needs across the global enterprise for various shared services (from ITS to HR and Facilities/Maintenance)
  • Work within cross-functional teams to provide technical expertise and process-thinking in the planning and design of business initiatives as they relate to the ServiceNow platform
  • Implement new modules or development of new features and functions within the ServiceNow instance, in accordance with defined business processes and design best practices 
  • Provide ongoing maintenance and support of already deployed ServiceNow modules (Applications within ITSM, ITBM, and ITOM)
  • Lead ServiceNow upgrades; insure proper testing by and communication to users of the platform
  • Manage ongoing development lifecycles of our Dev, Test, and Prod instances
  • Manage vendor implementations and support associated with ServiceNow Partner apps
  • Ensure the overall security and reliability of the platform and the data housed within it
  • Create documentation of ServiceNow workflows and configurations 


  • Bachelor's degree
  • ServiceNow Certified as an Application Developer, System Administrator, Implementation Specialist, or Application Specialist
  • 2+ years developing within a ServiceNow instance, including first-hand experience managing ServiceNow upgrades
  • Experience working with ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM, and ITBM modules 
  • Good technical understanding of ServiceNow best-practices and ongoing knowledge of latest features
  • Business acumen, and the ability to communicate to executives, business domain stakeholders and technical staff alike
  • Proven ability to organize and properly sequence demands related to business capabilities best suited for the ServiceNow platform
  • Exposure to the ITIL framework; certification a plus
