Intralox, L.L.C., the world leader in conveyor equipment solutions utilizing modular plastic conveyor belts, has a position available for an Oracle Solutions Lead in our Digital Solutions group.   

This position works as an Oracle EBS functional expert within our Quote to Book Team to help with identification and prioritization of business problems. This role is responsible for working closely with the business and IT stakeholders to solicit, analyze, understand, and document business requirements and translation of those requirements into Oracle solutions that leverage the power of our Oracle ERP and associated systems. They will also ensure processes and procedures for new requirements and changes achieve immediate business benefit. This role will work in a multi-disciplinary team (technical, functional, and business). 

The selected candidate will need strong process engineering skills, keen understanding of our business processes and how to optimize them with a continuous improvement focus using technologies already in our technology stack. Not only will the Oracle Solutions Lead be required to translate requirements from the business, but they should also be proactive and autonomous in how they work so that they can identify opportunities to digitize current processes and drive greater business utilization of systems and tools to leverage the power of our investments.

Responsibilities
  • Support the Quote to Book Business Lead, Business Relationship Manager, and Solution Architect to identify and sequence the key business initiatives needed to move the business forward
  • Act as Demand Manager to lead efforts including analysis and design of Oracle-related configurations, enhancements, reports, and interfaces to address business problems and opportunities
  • Translates high-level business vision into concrete requirements, user stories, and action plans 
  • Translates business requirements into a functional specification (MD.050) and to-be process design
  • Presents /demonstrates design ideas to developers, solution architect, and business stakeholders; 
  • Creates critical user and system documents such as configuration documents (BR.100), process flows, work instructions, training guides, etc.
  • Complete Oracle setup and configuration to meet business requirements/to-be design
  • Supports cutover and stabilizes the solution with users
  • Translate technical issues for business functions so business can own, action, and enhance their expertise to better own systems of record
  • Act as a communication broker to ensure the business functions and IT/DS project teams are aligned
  • Create a test plan and test scenarios, cases, and scripts; test and validate systems before hand-off to business; assist business in testing as needed
  • Provide Oracle User Training
  • Representative for business function in IT meetings
  • Process optimization – continuous improvement focus using technologies already in Intralox systems suite
  • Work with the infrastructure, ERP, enterprise architecture and business architecture groups within IT/DS to help integrate new projects into the ITS environment including transition into long term delivery and support

Requirements
  • Minimum 7+ years’ experience with Oracle E-Business Suite with proven technical track record
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems Preferred
  • Experience as a senior Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) resource in the definition of systems strategy, gathering and documenting business requirements, fit-gap analysis, to- be business process designs, conference room pilots (CRPs) functional configuration, testing, and user training.
  • A solid understanding of Agile and Waterfall software implementation techniques and methodology
  • Proven expertise with SQL, PL/SQL
  • Principled thinking with eye towards simplification and continuous improvement
  • Strong Problem solving and troubleshooting skills with ability to exercise mature judgement
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; works well in a team environment
  • Must have experience collaborating with clients on business process enhancements 
  • Strong mechanical and technology aptitudes with experience as a business process engineer
  • Experience with working with business systems architecture consultants staff augmentation providers
  • Experience leading diverse teams, including members from global business departments and vendors
