Intralox L.L.C., the world leader in conveyor equipment solutions utilizing modular plastic conveyor belts, has a position available for a Materials Management Supervisor at our Hanover, MD and Sparrows Point, MD locations. There are two positions available: Materials Supervisor – Picking and Materials Supervisor – Receiving.

  • As part of the Intralox Baltimore Operations Team, the Materials Supervisor will be responsible for logistics in our Assembled-to-Order (ATO) Manufacturing Lane, focused on delivering a wide variety of our patented Activated Roller Belt (ARB) Conveyors to customers across North America. 
  • They will contribute to and execute important processes, develop people, ensure quality, monitor capacity and schedules, and live the Intralox Laitram Continuous Improvement (LCI) Philosophy.  
  • Prioritize safety. 
  • Develop and execute strategies to achieve weekly, monthly and yearly KPI targets.
  • Maintain the organization and cleanliness of their team operating areas.
  • Execute strategic planning for personnel needs, space/capacity requirements, and equipment requirements.
  • Conduct performance reviews and development dialogues with their Team Leads and Associates.
  • Ensure processes are completed end to end in the business – a successful supervisor will not accept sub-par work simply because the task falls outside of their department.

Position Requirements: 

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Management, Production Management or Supply Chain or commensurate experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access). 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.  
  • Positive attitude.  Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail.  
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines.  
  • Ability to work overtime, flexible schedules, and weekends as required.  
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift and carry up to 40 pounds. 
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as required. 
  • A valid driver’s license. 

Desired Qualifications: 

  • Previous experience organizing a warehouse sequencing center. 
  • Previous experience with an ORACLE operating system (MRP).
