Responsibilities:

  • Work with Engineering and Assembly to improve Parts Flow throughout the facility.
  • Define and Lead projects to improve Materials Management processes and increase parts storage capacity
  • Develop and/or improve Materials Management work instructions
  • Increase work-flow capacities for Receiving, Picking and Water Spiders
  • Assist in achieving Key Performance Indicators for Materials Management
  • Monitor Parts Flow to identify gaps within Materials Management processes
  • Live the Intralox LCI philosophy.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to increase overall productivity.
  • Observe, maintain, coordinate, and complete standard work.
  • Ensure open communication and collaboration.
  • Drive daily and weekly missions.  Effectively coordinate resources to accomplish those missions
  • Identify skills and knowledge gaps in your team & work with other stakeholders to close those gaps.
  • Follow and enforce the attendance and call-in policy of the Assembly department.
  • Prioritize SAFETY at all times.
  • Demonstrate flexibility, introspection, and resilience in the face of constant change and challenge.
  • Understand the implications of upstream and downstream results.  Work closely with others to overcome issues.
  • Performs other duties as required.

Position Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Management, Production Management, Supply Chain, or commensurate experience.
  • At least two (2) years of experience managing material flow in a production environment.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Positive attitude.  Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail.
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines.
  • Ability to work overtime, flexible schedules, and weekends as required.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a leadership/supervisory role.
  • Previous experience with Lean/5S concepts.
  • Previous experience with an ORACLE operating system.
  • Intralox equipment/product knowledge.
