The Learning Management System (LMS) Product Manager is an innovative leader that helps Laitram deliver training effectively on a global scale. The LMS Product Manager will provide system and program management and support of the learning platform.  This individual will govern strategy, operational model, technology, and delivery of trainings.


This position has the ability to work remotely in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Champions the LMS development plan, to support evolving training strategies across the company.
  • Develop standardized LMS administration operational processes and procedures, guidelines, and training documentation to ensure adherence to LMS Governance Model.
  • Define and monitor metrics that measure the success of the portfolio, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Provide end-user troubleshooting, issue remediation, technology request assistance, and escalation management.
  • Maintain liaison with the LMS supplier for management of production enhancement requests, and escalation of complex technical issues.  Analyst will also draft and deliver training and communication supporting system enhancements.
  • Actively and regularly interacts with key stakeholders to confirm business priority alignment.
  • Collaborates with HRIS and IT supporting data integrity the LMS platform.
  • Certify that our user experience design keeps the learning at the heart of the platform, in collaboration with Human Resources and Learning and Development roles.
  • Train, support, and coach the LMS Administrators with regional and business specific job duties.
  • Administrate course and employee data for cross-company programs and teams.

 

Requirements

  • Five years+ experience with Learning Management System is required.
  • Experience in a similar or related role in Learning and Development, preferably in a corporate setting experience working with business, IT and HR stakeholders to deliver on the organization’s learning priorities.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.  Degree in Computer Information Systems, or Organizational Development preferred. 
  • Strong communication skills: Ability to articulate our shared vision and business priorities.
  • Project Management and refined organizational skills preferred.
  • System- thinker: Able to identify root cause leading to speedy resolution.
  • Collaborative skills supporting cross-functional alignment.
  • Customer service: Focused on end-user experience.
