Intralox, L.L.C. is looking for an Industrial Engineer within our Manufacturing Improvement Team (MIT) at our location in Harahan, LA. We are looking for someone who is just as comfortable on the floor talking with teams as they are behind a screen analyzing data. Your ability to build strong, trusting relationships will be just as important as your technical expertise in process improvement driving operational excellence in your respective area.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate directly with key stakeholders across departments to understand operational challenges and identify improvement opportunities.
- Lead and support process improvement initiatives that drive measurable outcomes in cost, quality, speed, and customer satisfaction.
- Utilize process improvement methodologies such as value stream mapping, lean, and Six Sigma to analyze systems, workflows, and bottlenecks.
- Lead requirements gathering for new or existing systems implementations.
- Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Work with other technical teams to develop solutions (Quality, Manufacturing Engineering Group, New Product Engineering).
- Help establish metrics and KPIs for ongoing performance monitoring and improvement tracking.
- Develop and optimize SOP’s including audits to ensure their compliance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field (Master’s a plus).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial engineering or related fields.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills - listen, build rapport, and influence without authority.
- Proven track record of leading projects that resulted in measurable operational improvements.
- Experience leading requirements or configuration changes for manufacturing software (MES, WMS, etc.).
- Proficient in Lean Six Sigma or similar methodologies.
- On-site position – local to Harahan, LA or Hammond LA plants – with potential for hybrid work after 6 months
Desired Qualifications:
- Six Sigma Green Belt
- CPIM Certification
