We are seeking an IT Technology Domain Architect (End User Compute) who will develop effective architectures for utilizing and managing endpoints across the enterprise that drive our Digital Workplace program.
The successful candidate will roadmap and design for the consumerization of IT, the shift to Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), the importance of employee engagement/experience, and the increased release cadences of operating system (OS) and application updates.
They will have experience in Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) with multiple device types and operating systems.  They will also have an excitement for adjusting to new hybrid working realities for a global manufacturing company.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter, a critical thinker, and a problem solver who can effectively communicate the benefits of new End User Compute (EUC) industry trends to a diverse audience.

  • Drive EUC architecture strategy by partnering with business and IT leadership to understand, validate, and rationalize endpoint needs across the global enterprise for varied worker personas (from factory floor assemblers to remote account managers)
  • Work within cross-functional teams to provide technical expertise in the planning and design of business initiatives as they relate to EUC within the digital workplace program
  • Align with other Architects over other technology domains to ensure holistic thinking
  • Architect systems focused on the user experience in the unified workspace (anytime, anywhere)
  • Design with endpoint and application lifecycles in mind: device procurement, OS deployment, application deployment, device health monitoring and application usage telemetry, firmware/driver updating, OS/application patching, and device/application retirement
  • Design for a secure unified workspace using CIS benchmarks or other security best practices
  • Create Architecture documents to support and capture design decisions

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related study (or equivalent project-related experience)
  • Business acumen, and the ability to communicate to executives, business domain stakeholders and technical staff alike
  • Proven ability to organize and properly sequence large numbers of business-generated demands and IT-driven technology optimizations
  • Expertise in the related Microsoft technology stack: Microsoft Endpoint Manager (MEM), Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) (formerly System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), Intune, and Windows 10 Enterprise
  • Experience with MacOS, iOS and/or Android operating systems in the enterprise
  • Experience with virtual machines and virtual applications like Citrix XenApp, Vmware Workspace One, or Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop
  • Familiarity with Apple Business Manager, Android Enterprise, and/or Samsung Knox
