Data Maintenance Specialist – New Product Development
Intralox, a division of Laitram, has a position available for a Data Maintenance Specialist in our New Products team in the New Orleans, LA office.

The Data Maintenance Specialist will be responsible for maintaining and supporting engineering data in a relational database. This position will report to our Fast Track team engineering lead.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with product and software engineers to translate physical product designs into engineering data and metadata
- Update and maintain engineering data in the database to ensure on-time product releases
- Ability to simplify and track data changes to maintain and support the data maintenance tables
- Investigate and resolve data maintenance issues, and facilitate change control and communication among technical teams, design engineers and customer service
- Prepare and implement methods to verify and test engineering data inputs
- Owns and updates documentation and training materials for new product engineers
- Understands how the data is used on the front end, integrating with quality engineers
Requirements:
- BS in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field or equivalent experience
- High attention to detail, able to analyze, interpret and organize information.
- Problem-solving skills
- Experience using relational databases, specifically Oracle
- Self-motivated and managed.
- Familiarity with Agile and/or Scrum processes
- Experience with SQL, PL/SQL
- Expertise with Excel
- Experience with Excel macros, Python, or other scripting languages
