As a member of our Corporate Laitram Continuous Improvement Team, this is a unique opportunity to help shape the behaviors, skills, and knowledge of employees in a leading global organization.  We are looking for someone who will drive the understanding and execution of our continuous improvement philosophy by creating and delivering employee and leadership learning programs.

Responsibilities

  • Work with leaders to identify and assess training needed to build a people development strategy in line with our culture and business goals.
  • Design and deliver training workshops and blended learning tools that enhance the skills and guide the behaviors of our employees.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives that advance productivity across the company.
  • Assist managers, trainers and colleagues to improve engagement and learning outcomes of their training and workshops.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Development, Adult Education, Human Resources or related field.
  • 8+ yrs. experience in a training & people development role, including instructional design, and presenting topics related to values, principles and soft skills.
  • Exceptional public speaking, workshop facilitation skills.
  • Solid knowledge of the latest corporate training techniques.
  • Ability to translate abstract concepts into practical application.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with others.
  • Inspires trust and relates well to people of varying roles and levels.
  • Confident, resilient and takes initiative.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills and habits.
  • Proficiency in various Microsoft Office tools, learning management systems, web-ex and video conferencing.
  • Works well in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment.

Desired Qualifications

  • Blended learning/Digital learning experience a plus.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment a plus.
