Contracts Risk Manager
Intralox, LLC has an opening for a Contracts Risk Manager position for its Baltimore operations. This individual will lead transactional risk management for the Company’s growing global equipment business, from the proposal phase of transactions through contract termination, initially by working at the direction and under the supervision of General Counsel.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead process for Contract Management that includes:
- Ownership for review of all contract documents
- Identification of all items/terms requiring specialist attention and team discussion
- Development of appropriate recommendations for managing risk through contract language changes
- Legal/risk management advice on all negotiations before and during the life of Company contracts
- Maintenance and updating of customer, subcontractor and supplier master agreements and non-disclosure agreements
- Identification of contracts that are written on local terms but should be implemented globally
- Support and provide guidance for Proposal Management that includes:
- Review of exception lists and revisions provided by SMEs, ensuring completeness and proper form
- Consolidation of all exception lists and revisions into a cohesive bid response or contract negotiation response
- Conducting a thorough comparison between accepted proposals and customer-provided contracts to ensure alignment before finalizing agreements
- Coordinate input from General Counsel and outside legal counsel on contract matters when necessary
Requirements:
- Juris Doctorate preferred, with demonstrated high achievement in law school if have degree
- 5-7 years of experience with managing contracts or contract processes, preferably in a business to business setting
- High aptitude for reviewing and understanding contracts, as well as drafting plain language contract provisions
- Experience with US Postal Service contracts considered a plus
- Strong computer skills in MS Office Suite (Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point)
- Excellent written and oral communication, as well as project management skills
