Intralox, L.L.C., a division of Laitram, L.L.C., and a global provider of conveyance solutions and services has an opening for a Business Development Analyst (BDA) in North America for the rapidly growing ‘Spiral’ platform. This position is key to accelerating the exciting growth path for this platform; and will drive business development strategies in North America with the potential of impacting international markets. The BDA has the opportunity to directly impact business development and results with a high degree of responsibility and autonomy. The BDA will work closely with engineering, sales, customer service and marketing. This position reports to the Global Business Development Manager for the Platforms. The position is located out of our office in New Orleans, LA.

Responsibilities

  • Lead business development strategy for key markets, segments and customers.
  • Drive integration of commercial inputs and market knowledge with product development and service needs.
  • Provide research and analysis to support new product development.
  • Commercialize and promote sales for key products and service.
  • Develop commercial messaging, value propositions, and market strategies.
  • Conduct analysis to show payback and return on investment and develop business cases for customers.
  • Cross functional collaboration with industry teams, and other internal departments to develop and execute sales support and processes.
  • Work with marketing analysts to develop marketing mediums/tools effectively to communicate clear messages to the market/customer base.



Requirements

  • Minimum bachelor's degree. MBA is a plus
  • 2-5 years of work experience; preferably in Marketing / Finance / B2B sales
  • Energetic and well organized with exceptional communication skills
  • Proficient in use of analytical tools (excel, database management, etc.)
  • Ability to evaluate and effectively pursue strategic sales opportunities
  • Project management capabilities
  • Strong team player, self-managed and proactive with a demonstrated sense of ownership
  • Strong critical & analytical thinking capabilities
  • Affinity for technical products and services
  • Able to travel to customer sites (Approx. 25% travel)
