Laitram Machinery is looking for an energetic, self-motivated person with the ability and data orientation to understand and develop complex economic models. This analyst also has the customer and marketing orientation to distill those models into simple, compelling, and effective marketing communication. The role represents a unique opportunity to directly impact company-level outcomes by supporting new product launch. You will work at the crossroads of Marketing, Sales, and Product Development.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Commercial team to champion the development of compelling business cases, case studies, value propositions, and ROI analyses.
  • Work with key customers and partners to understand, quantify, and compare the business value of Laitram products and alternatives.
  • Conduct strategic, competitive and industry analysis across multiple markets, applications, and technologies.
  • Work with Marketing to develop effective sales messaging, sales tools, and relevant collateral that supports and enables the sales organization to clearly spread our story at scale.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of work experience in Sales, Marketing, Business Development, Product Management, Project Management or Financial Analysis. MBA/Training in economics or financial analysis a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • Currently enrolled in a masters degree program and available to start as an intern is also an option.
  • A keen analytical mind with a sound understanding of economics, business and engineering principles.
  • Strong team player, self-managed and proactive with a demonstrated sense of ownership.
  • Energetic and well organized with exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to evaluate and effectively pursue strategic sales opportunities.
  • Fluent in English. Other major languages a plus. International work or study experience a plus.
  • Proficient in use of Excel and other analytical tools.
