Intralox L.L.C., the world leader in conveyor equipment solutions utilizing modular plastic conveyor belts, has a position available for an Accountant. The qualified individual will coordinate Capital and Expense projects, manage Fixed Assets, and perform other general accounting responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

Fixed Assets/Projects:
  • Fixed asset subledger maintenance including adding, transferring, and retiring assets  
  • Analyzing depreciation variances
  • Maintaining monthly asset rollforward and reconciliation to the general ledger
  • Project subledger maintenance including opening/closing, project creation/modification, and troubleshooting and correcting errors
  • Capital project management including monthly review of individual project spending to ensure correct coding, asset creation, and timely project closure
  • Recurring communication/meetings with various departments on project details and status updates
  • Review and prepare capital cost and project expense analyses 
  • Provide annual audit support for project capital balances, assets and depreciation expense including supporting schedules and selected transactions
  • Lead on all systems testing related to Fixed Assets/Projects

General Accounting:
  • General ledger close responsibilities including journal entries, variance analysis, reconciliations, and other reporting
  • Customer rebate calculations
  • Assist with expense report audits
  • Special projects


Requirements:
  • BS degree in Accounting, with a minimum of 1-3 years of relevant work experience
  • General Ledger experience required; Fixed Assets and Capital Projects preferred
  • Knowledge of GAAP
  • Detail oriented with excellent analytical skills
  • Strong communication and effective collaboration skills
  • Proficient in MS Excel and other Microsoft Office products 
  • Experience with Oracle and/or other large ERP system preferred
