Are you a driven sales professional interested in technical industrial processes? Laitram Machinery, LLC is currently seeking an Account Manager responsible for Indonesia. As a member of this team, the qualified individual will be responsible for developing and managing commercial relationships with existing customers, developing new business and driving sales results to strengthen the market position. This individual will primarily service Indonesia. The candidate will preferably be located in Jakarta or Surabaya. The ability to travel up to 50% of the time in Indonesia and Southeast Asia is essential.


  • Drive sales results and strengthen account position
  • Develop and manage commercial relationships with existing customers.
  • Proactively schedule regular customer visits, conference calls, and webcasts to fully understand customer problems and opportunities
  • Work with team to develop and execute effective strategies
  • Embrace the Laitram business philosophy.


  • Native Bahasa Indonesian and fluency in English. 
  • Other SEA languages (Thai, Vietnamese, other) will be a plus.
  • Engineering degree
  • 3+ years of experience in selling capital equipment.
  • Food processing (equipment) industry experience preferred.
  • A positive, confident outlook,
  • Self-motivated, self-managed, entrepreneurial, problem-solving personality.
  • Team-player.
  • Excellent communication, analytical and technical skills.
  • An interest and aptitude in technical industrial processes.
  • Good organizational skills, with attention to detail.
  • High sense of urgency, results-driven.
  • A passion for learning.
  • Capable of presenting an economic analysis (for example, cost/benefit analysis, payback analysis, etc.)
  • Strong computer skills - Excel and Word
