Responsibilities

  • Assess and refine the department’s project management process and methodology.
  • Coordinate project activity to completion; on time, within budget, and within scope.
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Oversee all aspects of projects. Set deadlines, assign responsibilities and monitor and summarize progress of projects.
  • Work directly with other company departments to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget; ensure all aspects of each project are compatible with business processes.
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation.
  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress.
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
  • Act as a feedback loop from the business to continue to iterate the migration and deployment process for projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 5 years proven working experience in project management
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
  • Great written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong understanding of Change Management processes
  • Self-managed with ability to work in a collaborative team environment
  • Intellectual curiosity and the ability to question thought partners across functional areas
  • Ability to manage vendors and foster collaboration with internal resources

Desired Qualifications

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification is a plus
  • Experience managing SharePoint or Office 365 implementations/migration projects
  • Good understanding of the Office 365 product suite and a desire to stay up-to-date on the changes that impact business users
  • Experience deploying products in a multi-national, multi-division company
  • Manage implementing MS Teams as it relates to the migration from SharePoint 2007 to SharePoint Online
