Intralox, is looking for a Program Manager to lead our emergent technology practice. This candidate will report directly to the Vice President of Innovation and will be responsible for evaluating and investigating the feasibility, value and industry application of potentially transformative technology platforms.

This is one of the most interesting jobs in the market.   From a position inside a profitable and growing company, you will evaluate potentially disruptive new technology with the potential to add value inside our customer base for years to come.   It requires an unusual blend of skills and offers the potential payoff of knowing that you were the driver of a new capability that changed the history of food processing and manufacturing.  The ideal candidate is both visionary but a good critical thinker and an objective evaluator of his or her own ideas.

Responsibilities

  • Work with internal experts and external collaborators to assess technology’s readiness and adaptability to Intralox customer applications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address manufacturing, service, business-model, and promotional challenges
  • Partner with customers and internal industry experts to define the objective value of the technology, compared to current alternatives
  • Spearhead efforts to translate visions into concrete action plans for each key initiative
  • Lead discussions of sales and marketing challenges and strategy, if and after the solution takes the form of a released product

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with an exposure to business and engineering
  • 5-7 years of experience of product management experience with a demonstrated ability to translate business needs into product requirements 
  • Proficiency 
    in developing a product roadmap and vision with full ownership of progress
  • Versatility in engineering concepts across a range of disciplines
  • Objectify and sequence feasibility questions for resolution in a dynamic framework of internal collaborators
  • Curiosity, tenacity, and an analytical mindset
  • Facilitate discussions of company's business model, system and support needs
  • Expertise in leading discussions and diagnose objective customer value
  • An understanding of how to articulate the product vision clearly and concisely
  • Excellent verbal/written communication and presentation abilities
  • Travel up to 20-40%
