Product Owner / Scrum Master
Intralox, L.L.C., a division of Laitram, L.L.C., and a global provider of conveyance solutions and services, has an opening for a Product Owner and Scrum Master within the Digital Solutions (DS) team. This role will work within the Customer Service Pod to help refine, prioritize, track, and facilitate feature development to deliver solutions for team members selling our products to our customers. The DS team is leading Intralox’s implementation and evolution of our enterprise business applications and new digital solutions. DS is more than just an IT department – we are business domain experts, software developers, and operational support resources that use technology to bring more value to customers and Intralox.
This role will report to a software development supervisor and work with a diverse team of technical and business experts. The individual in this role will navigate a broad range of technically complex projects for different departments and cross functional owners. They will be pivotal to introducing various projects related to the core functionality of our customer service and manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities
- Working closely with business leaders and product experts to develop programs to enhance the functionality of core customer service and manufacturing systems.
- Managing several, interdependent, business-sponsored projects and programs that span multiple business units globally, including product configurators and work order optimization engines.
- Coordinating among developers, architects, and business leaders to define a feature delivery roadmap; tracking program milestones and removing barriers that could impact project execution; reporting results to executive teams; communicating delivery estimates/updates to the stakeholders.
- Translating refined requirements into User Stories; writing User Stories to be refined by the scrum team.
- Organizing and leading scrum rituals including daily standups, (at least) twice weekly refinements, biweekly sprint retros, and other sessions as needed.
- Reflecting upon and revising team scrum and Agile practices to better match the needs of the business, QA, and developers.
- Owning the backlog for the Customer Service Pod and organizing the backlog to match business priorities.
- Coordinating business user testing, communicating necessary deadlines and delivering updates to the development team when issues are discovered.
- Ensuring that test plans are provided by business resources and are sufficient in scope.
- Updating ServiceHub items to ensure appropriate visibility of progress to stakeholders.
- Working closely with stakeholders and supervisors to ensure that team questions are answered efficiently and that acceptance criteria contained in user stories are clear and precise.
- Working with partners and vendors on system life cycle management; creating programs to eliminate obsolete systems by defining the technology roadmaps for emerging collaboration technologies; integrating new functionality and version upgrades into the technology roadmaps.
- Understands how to negotiate the occasionally conflicting demands of urgency and quality; balances expediency with the goal of zero-defect execution.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with both writing and speaking skills being essential; strong business and technical communication skills generally.
- Able to work independently and as part of a development team.
- Self-managed.
- Flexible when responding to changing needs of the business.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- At least 2 years of experience as a Product Owner and/or Scrum Master.
- At least 2 years of experience analyzing business needs, gathering and refining business requirements, translating business requirements into technical requirements for inclusion in user stories, and writing user stories to accurately reflect business and technical requirements.
- Experience with business and technical requirements analysis, business process modeling/mapping, methodology development, and data mapping.
- Experience sizing projects and features and communicating technical scope to stakeholders to justify sizes and estimates.
- Experience collaborating with stakeholders during the early development and visioning of a feature, project, or product.
- At least 2 years of experience working on a scrum team in an Agile environment.
- Experience working in a diverse, multi-disciplinary team environment.
Desired Qualifications
- Scrum Master and/or Scrum Product Owner Certification.
- Experience working as a software developer.
- Experience working with or in a QA Team.
- Experience with Oracle EBS.
- Experience with the SDLC.
Position is 90% remote, with roughly 2 weeks per year required in an office located in Harahan, LA.
