Position Responsibilities:

  • Travels to client sites and manages incoming shipments and distribution of parts at installation site.
  • Identify and inventory assemblies and individual parts.
  • Check off items on project shipping manifest as physically received on site.
  • Works directly with and submits missing parts request to IPE (Integration Parts Expediter).
  • Assist in organizing materials on-site according to build schedules.
  • Act as liaison between installation site and various areas of warehouse including Project Manager, Kitting, Superintendents, Shipping and on-site contractors.
  • Submit daily reports on project dashboard in a timely manner.
  • Book and schedule travel arrangements.
  • Respond to routine requests/issues and timely escalate issues requiring the involvement of others.
  • Exhibit teamwork and self-management practices daily.
  • Promote and participate with continuous improvement efforts as needed.
  • Safely operate various lift equipment.
  • Follow the attendance policy of the Department.
  • Maintain and enforce a safe work environment by following all safety procedures and policies.
  • Diligently manage travel expenses and corporate card purchases.

Position Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 2 years of experience in inventory management/order picking.
  • 1 year of experience with palletizing, shipping and truck loading of irregular materials.
  • Previous experience with the operation of lift equipment.
  • Must have basic Math skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft office software (Excel, Outlook, Word).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to be a team player and interact with internal personnel at all levels, external vendors, contractors and sales staff.
  • Ability to work with minimal direction and meet strict deadlines.
  • Very strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
  • Ability to travel for extensive periods; as much as 50% or more.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Stable work history.
  • Ability to follow the policies and practices as noted in employee handbook.
  • Ability to perform the essential functions of this position as detailed in the functional job description, including the requirement to lift and carry 62 pounds.
  • Ability to work overtime, flexible schedules, and weekends as required.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in warehousing, receiving or manufacturing environment.
  • Previous experience with Oracle operating system.
  • Previous experience with using Smartsheet.
  • Certification in operation of lift equipment.
