Intralox, a leader in modular plastic conveyor belting and solutions, is seeking a North American Industry Team Leader for the Meat, Poultry, and Seafood team.  Primary responsibilities will be to act as sales manager responsible for institutionalizing specific value pockets in this industry, developing and tracking growth initiatives as well as direct involvement with major account decision making processes and further strengthening partnerships with these accounts. 


Responsibilities

  • Develop a high performance, successful sales team in North America.
  • Grow team revenues and profits.
  • Business planning: develop and implement sales initiatives, strategies and programs to capture key market opportunities.
  • Support to further strengthen partnerships with key end users and OEMs in the meat, poultry, and seafood industry.
  • Leading change agent for the team in the implementation of new CRM.  Working with team members to ensure smooth transition.
  • Identify new product and value pocket development opportunities and coordinate activities that will help achieve growth within this industry.
  • Making decisions related to pricing of new products and discounting at the major customers.
  • Coach and train on sales techniques that support Intralox Sales Methodologies.
  • Set performance standards and goals for the team members.
  • Execute sales funnel management with the team members.
  • Provide ongoing performance planning and evaluation for each Account Manager.
  • Serve as a key member of the Leadership Team.

Requirements

  • College degree is required, MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of commercial sales management experience with a demonstrated track record in leading a sales-focused team.
  • Strong organization, planning and execution skills.
  • Excellent MS Office skills, with experience with MS Dynamics is a plus.
  • Proven people management skills; ability to set high standards and coach employees.
  • Ability to develop and implement team plans and commercial strategies.
  • Very good spoken and written communication skills with the ability to operate at the executive level when dealing with accounts.
  • Experience with sales coaching and training.
  • Ability to function in a dynamic, multi-cultural team-based environment.
  • 60% travel is required domestically, with the ability to travel globally when needed.
  • Strong facilitation and negotiation skills.
