Laitram LLC is seeking an experienced IT Systems Engineer with a strong background in Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR) to join our dynamic IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Microsoft Teams Rooms across our globally distributed organization. In addition to MTR management, this role will support Microsoft Teams as a product, including add-in requests, teamsite management, and integration with other enterprise systems. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical expertise in networking, security, and AV systems, along with hands-on experience in managing Microsoft Teams environments.

Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR) Management:

• Deploy, configure, and maintain Microsoft Teams Rooms devices in a globally-distributed collection of conference rooms, some with no onsite IT personnel.
• Monitor and troubleshoot MTR systems to ensure seamless operation during meetings and events.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to manage MTR hardware and software updates.
• Provide technical support and training to end-users on MTR functionality and best practices.

Audio-Visual (AV) Systems Integration:

• Collaborate with AV specialists to ensure optimal room acoustics, microphone, and speaker placement for high-quality audio and video during meetings.
• Integrate Microsoft Teams Rooms with existing AV equipment, ensuring compatibility and high-quality output.

Infrastructure Integration:

• Work closely with Network Infrastructure team to ensure stability and performance for MTRs.
• Adhere to security policies and procedures as established by IT Security and Physical Security.

Documentation and Training:

• Develop and maintain documentation related to Microsoft Teams Rooms deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Equip, enable, and empower IT Operations to support and administer the MTR environment.
