Intralox, L.L.C has an exciting opportunity for an Equipment Maintenance Supervisor within our state-of-the-art injection molding facility in Hammond, LA.  This facility is a 24/7 manufacturing operation utilizing injection molding machines and automation to produce components used in the manufacturing of plastic modular conveyor belts.

  • Direct supervision of 10+ equipment maintenance personnel across multiple shifts supporting a 24/7 production operation
  • Coordinate all aspects of daily equipment maintenance operations to support production
  • Drive ownership and accountability of performance at both the group and individual level
  • Work closely with production leadership to ensure that equipment maintenance support is in line with the priorities and goals of production
  • Work in a team setting, with other supervisors in effort to increase overall productivity
  • Develop and implement proactive programs and metrics that maintain our production equipment to world class standards
  • Monitor and report on Equipment Maintenance Group performance to identify issues and improvement opportunities
  • Continuously improve team performance and results
  • Represent the Equipment Maintenance Group in leadership meetings
  • Foster communication within the group, across shifts and with other production groups to ensure smooth operations and adoption of best practices
  • Enforce all safety and housekeeping procedures
  • Ensures effective training and development for equipment maintenance employees
  • Provides timely, specific, constructive feedback to the group including quarterly feedback and performance improving planning in line with the Laitram Continuous Improvement timeline
  • Hire, coach, discipline and terminate as required
  • Monitor compliance with daily time and attendance policies
  • Maintain an effective inventory system


  • Previous supervisory experience with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple technical employees and lead small teams
  • Experience in a dynamic manufacturing environment
  • Strong interpersonal, communication (written and oral), and organization skills
  • Highly motivated team player possessing a continuous improvement mindset
  • Demonstrated problem solving and issue resolution skills
  • Strong PC skills for email and MS Office applications
  • Ability to work a 40 hour week (M-F) with occasional nights and weekends as needed
  • Ability to work overtime as needed

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with injection molding equipment
  • Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, PLCs, and robotics
  • Bachelor’s degree in technical or business discipline
  • 5S/LEAN experience
