Intralox, L.L.C. is seeking an Application Engineer (AE) to join our growing team in Latin America. Based in Mexico City region, the AE collaborates with our internal teams and customers in the Food, Industrial and Logistics and Material Handling business industries to evaluate and recommend the most appropriated technical solution for their conveyance needs based on Intralox technologies.

Responsibilities:  
  • Share field information/experience to benefit product life or market acceptance
  • Recommendation of solution and implementation of guidelines per application
  • Seek to understand competitive technologies and evaluate needs
  • Support Intralox Account Managers in implementation of Intralox solutions
  • Assist the implementation of complex projects
  • Manage any class product/solution performance issues
  • Work with the Technical Support Group to review, share and learn new applications
  • On-site support for newly delivered products:
  • Machine and belt installation
  • Production start-up
  • Operator and maintenance instructions to users
  • Health Checks
  • Trouble shooting
  • Document your observations and actions in a service visit report
  • Perform other related service duties as assigned
 
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree on Mechanical, Industrial or Mechatronics.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in customer support (on-site or remote) or industrial sales support as a technical resource.
  • Ability to travel for training purposes, mostly predictable and scheduled.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to conceptualize and articulate mechanical concepts.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to travel approximately 50-75%; mostly predictable and scheduled.
  • Required availability to travel on weekends and holidays.
  • A passion for learning and growth along with the willingness and ability to be self-managed and the acceptance of personal responsibility for results
  • Computer proficiency with demonstrated experience in MS Office (Excel & PowerPoint), and CAD; experience with developing programs and writing code a plus
  • Fluent in English and Spanish as Native. Portuguese is a plus
