Account Manager (or Regional Sales Support Engineer)

Intralox, L.L.C., the world leader in conveyor equipment solutions utilizing modular plastic conveyor belts, has a position available for a Account Manager in the Mid-West US area.

  • Work within the proven Intralox team selling model to support the Account Team Leads with regional customer needs.
  • Visit customer locations and develop regional relationships with local leadership in operations, engineering, facilities, etc. Educate these relationships on solutions and drive preference towards Intralox
  • Understand customer pain points, project opportunities, site operational nuances and customer standards.
  • Help define and articulate clear scope/schedule requirements internally and externally.
  • Support selling teams with creation, delivery and closing of proposals. 
  • Produce early forecast/opportunity information (both programmatic and non-programmatic business).
  • Learn and share intelligence and/or influence gaps across the strategic account selling teams.
  • Develop and execute a regional territory plan including strategy, support, as well as service and product development priorities.
  • Identify and/or support resolution of facility equipment challenges; commercially managing or directing each situation to the Intralox source of support.
  • Proactive selling of service offerings in Intralox portfolio of deployments.


  • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or similar
  • 2+ years in B2B sales.
  • Strong commercial and analytical skills; Objective critical thinking capabilities.
  • Conveyor / material handling experience preferred
  • Energetic and well organized.
  • Technical background preferred
  • Strong team player, self-managed and proactive.
  • Credible; able to develop strong relationships within the target account.
  • Well-developed communication skills.
  • Curious, a learner.
  • Affinity for technical products and services.
  • Willingness to travel 50%.
